Episode 4 of The Public Service Broadcast heralds the start of a new month and is ready now for your listening pleasure. As well as the usual staples of the best in music new and old, film soundtracks and chatter we finally get round to some Peruvian rock from 1972. We investigate the rise of the theme riff as opposed to the theme tune and there’s also time to hear snippets of wah-wah with percussive accompaniment and the narration of Ian McShane.
