Things I Miss About Football Volume 73

by Douglas Anderson | Oct 8, 2010 | Uncategorized

This photo sums up much about what I miss in football. It’s a picture of  Hibernian legend Pat Stanton but really, it could be any great player from the era. The beautiful simplicity of the strip with no vulgar logo, the old school ball, the floodlighting pylon which would help guide fans to the stadium from afar. What’s not to love? My only regret is that it’s not a wider shot to show the massive bank of terracing. Halcyon days.
