And so it came to pass, I have entered the world of blogging on the day that mrdouglasanderson.com has gone live. At a time when in the UK at least, the country is in a state of panic due to all manner of political upheaval, I am relatively calm although I have had too much coffee already this morning. In an attempt to combat this caffeine rush I have played The Modern Lovers at full blast and I’m already looking forward to seeing Pavement at Brixton Academy in two days time. I think I’ll upload a couple of new articles I’ve written for the site on The Beta Band and Bob Lind this week as well. Must embrace the web and alas finally throw out my typewriter. I’ve just remembered I don’t own a typewriter but if I did, it would be gone.
